The Pastor's Encouragement Retreat is a three-day, two-night Christian retreat designed to provide encouragement and renewal time for Southern Baptist pioneer/mission pastors and their spouses living in the New England area. These mission pastors are working with small churches in areas where there is little exposure to God's Word and the work is challenging. At the retreat, pastors and their spouses spend plenty of "quality time" listening and interacting with an experienced leadership team. Speakers, musicians, fellowship with other pastors and time to spend with God combine with a relaxing getaway to provide the encouragement they need.

As a pastor, you and your wife face the continual struggle to minister to the spiritual needs of others. The result can be that you feel spiritually drained, unprepared and discouraged. This is why Phil Waldrep Ministries provides a time of encouragement and spiritual renewal to the mission pastors of New England. The focus of the Pastor’s Encouragement Conference is maximizing your joy in ministry. At the Pastor’s Encouragement Retreat, you will spend plenty of “quality time” interacting with an experienced leadership team. These leaders have garnered decades of experience in working in the ministry, and have been blessed with the talents and desire to pass along their gifts to others. In addition, you will enjoy a sumptuous banquet and free time to relax, see local sights and spend time focusing on God and His Word. You will leave with a renewed zeal for ministry!

The total cost per couple is $300. The cost covers lodging for 2 nights, the banquet and retreat. If you are a Southern Baptist pastor in the New England area, a scholarship may be available for you and your spouse. Call 1-800-374-1550 for more information or fill out and submit our
Online Scholarship Application Form
.

Due to the nature of this conference, availability is limited to pastors and their spouses. Child care will not be available. Transportation and meals (other than the banquet) are the responsibility of the attendees. Lodging is distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Please respond by July 8, 2009
