 Sam McElroy has been named as the Executive Director of Phil Waldrep Ministries effective June 1, according to Evangelist Phil Waldrep. McElroy has served as the Associate Pastor for Music and Adminstration since 1988 at the First Baptist Church in Milan, Tennessee. "We are excited about Sam and his wife, Teresa, being a part of our team," Waldrep said in a statement released Monday morning, April 28. "Sam has the gifts and the skills we need to take us to the next level." Born in 1951, McElroy gave his life to Christ at 10 years of age at the Fairfield Heights Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama. A graduate of Samford University, he and his wife have two sons, Anthony and Garrett. |
