![]() Maegan Waldrep, the oldest daughter of Evangelist Phil Waldrep, is safe after a tornado destroyed the dormitory in which she lived on the campus of Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. According to press reports, a tornado hit the campus of Union University around 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening, causing extensive damage. "We are grateful tonight that the Lord protected our daughter," Phil Waldrep said after talking with his daughter Tuesday evening. "She is shaken but safe." Waldrep was in Andalusia, Alabama conducting revival services at the First Baptist Church. According to the university's president, Doctor David Dockery, the campus will be closed for several days. "We ask that our friends join us in praying for the students, faculty and leadership of the university as they recoup from this event," Waldrep said. Click "read more" to see more photos.
