You can be an encourager
Sponsor a mission pastor and his wife to attend a Pastor's Encouragement Retreat. $300 will sponsor a couple to attend a domestic Pastor's Retreat. $1,000 will sponsor a couple to attend an international Pastor's Conference.

 

Several years ago, Phil and Debbie Waldrep began to see the need to encourage pastors and their wives, especially in areas where there is little gospel preaching. From that burden, the New England Pastor's Encouragement Retreat was born.

Each year pastors and their wives - at no cost to them - join the staff of Phil Waldrep Ministries and leading Bible teachers at a nice hotel for three days of relaxation, fellowship and inspiration.

The testimonies of pastors and their wives reflect the impact of the retreat. Many pastors are ready to quit and return to “greener pastures” when they arrive at the retreat. But a fresh word from the Lord sends them home with renewed vision and passion.

This kind of needed encouragement is possible because people like you give generously to provide scholarships for the pastors and their wives to attend the retreats.

Best of all, our conference attendance provides funds for the administrative expenses of the ministry, therefore everything given for the Pastor's Retreats and the mission program of the ministry is used exclusively for that purpose. Even now, plans are underway for additional retreats including retreats for international pastors.
