Living With Joy changing formats

Dear friends and partners in ministry,

Months ago we carefully examined the resources and time required to maintain Living With Joy in its present, daily, format airing on many wonderful stations across the nation.

After a great deal of prayerful thought and counseling, we have decided to continue Living With Joy as a weekly podcast, starting in January of 2012. Unfortunately, Living With Joy will no longer be broadcast on the radio.

This shift in format allows us to dedicate our limited resources and time to our many conferences, and our Pastor’s Encouragement Retreat.

We thank all of you who have given to the ministry over the years. Our daily broadcast of Living With Joy was made possible only by your support. We hope you’ll continue to listen to our podcast.

We haven’t worked out all of the details yet. We do know that it will be broadcast as a podcast, online, and you can subscribe now for free at LivingWithJoyRadio.com.

We do hope you’ll tune in as we talk about the future of Living With Joy. Please, make sure that you subscribe to our podcast today, to continue receiving Living With Joy in 2012.

Again, visit LivingWithJoyRadio.com and click on one of the Podcast links to subscribe. It’s free! For the remainder of the year, you will receive our daily broadcasts as usual, and beginning in 2012, we’ll switch to our new weekly format.

Thank you,
- Phil Waldrep and the Living With Joy Team.

If you want to start getting the podcast right now, we recommend iTunes. Once you have iTunes on your computer, click this link, then click the View in iTunes button, then click Subscribe. We understand that Podcasts will be new for many of you. If you have trouble subscribing, please give us a call at 1-800-374-1550 and we’ll do our best to help you (but our lines can be very busy, so please give it a try before calling).

With the recent addition of Bott Radio 100.1 FM in Fort Wayne, IN, I have had great encouragement by listening to LWJ each morning on the way to work. All the other local Christian radio stations are music based at 5:30 a.m. And it is not great for encouragement.

I was looking forward to many years of listening to LWJ radio ministry. It has been so good for me. Are there any similar programs available?

18 years ago I chose to leave pastoral ministry to preserve my family. After 3 years of further education, I was practicing counseling when a court refered client threatened my job. She had connections and ended my career in counseling after 3 months. For 14 years I have served in a local school district as a custodian to make a living and keep my family fed.

My wife and I have been unofficial missionaries serving in a church as leadership team. We have seen the church move from small 35 to 45 on Sunday to 300 each week in 14 years. What we see is a continuing failure to have spiritual growth. We are discouraged and look for any good message from daily programs such as LWJ.

    Blessings to all,
    Dean Trumbull
