Announcing our 2011 Calendar
Looking for a great Christmas gift? I’m pleased to finally be able to tell you about something we’ve been working on for quite some time now!
Introducing the Phil Waldrep Ministries 2011 Calendar! We just have a couple of photos of it right now, but we’ll post some more photos from it soon. Please, tell us what you think. This is our first calendar, and we’d love your feedback. Want one? You can order it today on our newly updated store, at http://shop.philwaldrep.org
Celebrators and … Tornados?
It’s that time of the year when fall is here. The trees are turning colors, our senior adult friends are enjoying wonderful music and teaching at Celebrators conferences, and — tornados? That’s right. If you live in the South-East or in the Mid-West, you probably experienced that unseasonal weather too. Thankfully, we don’t know of anyone being hurt, but you should have seen our office after the power went out. It was a quick scramble to save our work, shut down computers, and find flashlights. Although none of the tornados passed directly overhead, there were some that passed right by here. It was quite the eventful day here.
Yes, we missed last week. Sorry about that. We tried to bring you this week’s update a little earlier so that you didn’t have to wait a full two weeks for your This Week @pwm update! Thanks for reading!

I listened yesterday, October 27th, to your radio program. You had Jackie and Dee Dee Kendle (may-be spelled incorrectly) talking about their book “Lady in Waiting.” I wanted to order it and wrote down the 800 number as I understood it to be 1-800-374-1515. When I dialed the number a recording came on saying to call the talk line giving me another number to call. The message I received was shocking considering what I had expected when I dialed the 2nd number. It is some very crude, pornographic verbalize. I hung up thinking I had dialed the wrong number but when I re-dialed the number( I thought your announcer gave out) I got the same thing. Today your program came on when I was in my car. I paid very close attention and thought I understood the same last digits. When they repeated it I realize it was fifteen fifty and not fifteen fifteen. I had to listen very intentionally to the last two digits. For me there was no harm done. I am concerned about someone (man especially) struggling with pornography that Satan could lead astray. When I got home tonight and called the correct number I got Living with Joy (thankfully) with a nice recording. Just felt I should bring this to your attention. May-be instead of saying fifteen fifty the announcer should say 1550 just to be on the cautious side. It’s hard to distinguish fifteen fifteen and fifteen fifty on the radio. If you say them out loud you will see what I mean.
I meant to say the announcer should say one, five, five, zero instead of fifteen fifty.
